CONTROLLED ATMOSPHERE STORAGE

What is Controlled Atmosphere Storage?

A controlled atmosphere is an agricultural storage method in which the concentrations of oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen, as well as the temperature and humidity of a storage room are regulated.

Both dry commodities and fresh fruit and vegetables can be stored in controlled atmospheres.

Our Solution

The EC-12 Environmental Controller is the ideal solution to monitor and control carbon dioxide, nitrogen, oxygen, temperature and humidity of the atmosphere to optimise storage life and ensure quality of the produce is maintained.

As a distributed monitoring and control system, the EC12 can be readily installed and operated with ease.

With its remote connectivity via 3G or the Internet ensuring information is always readily accessible, the EC-12 system can monitor and control up to 12 CAS rooms, and its flexible design can cater for both small and large Controlled Atmosphere Storage facilities.
